He will share a strategy and the progress underway to enable 10 TWe of clean energy to be deployed in 10 years, starting in 2030. He will provide a practical approach for repurposing coal plants - as well as other industrial energy infrastructure - cost-effectively, quickly and at scale.

Terra Praxis was honored to participate and contribute to this invitation only conference, where the current impediments and potential solutions to enable nuclear power as part of the clean energy transition were discussed. The conference brought together prominent stakeholders from the global nuclear industry, policy makers, financial institutions, and academia, Terra Praxis was the only non-profit organization invited. The discussions served as a key input for a report the IEA is preparing scheduled for launch in early 2025.

The meeting brought together 700 leaders from all sectors and industries to participate in a comprehensive dialogue on leveraging global cooperation for economic development, promoting a global energy transition that underpins sustainable development and furthering technological advancement, supporting the Forum’s work to shape a more equitable and resilient global economy.

On March 21, 2024, government leaders and representatives from nuclear industry and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) gathered in Brussels for the International Atomic Energy Agency and Belgian government’s Nuclear Energy Summit, the world’s highest-level meeting on nuclear energy. At this critical juncture for action on climate change and energy security, 20 NGOs from around the globe jointly call for the efficient and responsible expansion of nuclear energy and advance six key principles for doing so, Terra Praxis is proud to be among them.

Terra Praxis' Beautiful Nuclear was featured at SXSW as part of the Beautiful Nuclear Exhibit hosted by Anthropocene, Generation Atomic, and Mothers for Nuclear. The exhibit showcased art celebrating how nuclear energy can help achieve all 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
